So we moved to California back in August and have done a lot of fun things. Most my pictures are in my cell phone and I don't know why I can't get them on the computer so the only pictures I can post are the ones from my camera. The day before Thanksgiving we went on a little drive on the coast and stopped at a few beaches. It took Dax a minute to figure out that he could play with the sand but once he started he didn't want to stop.

Alcatraz in the back ground when we were in San Francisco- on one of our other trips to San Francisco we saw the Blue Angles air show and that was pretty cool.

Dax on Halloween was my little prisoner. I felt bad that Rusty missed out on Dax's first Halloween, he ended up having to go to New York and work when that last big storm went through and took them out of power. But I dressed Dax up anyway for pictures.

This was Rusty and Dax's first time to the Grand Canyon. It was our last day in Arizona and the weather was so cold, windy and snowy at the Grand Canyon but we really wanted to go.

Just before this picture was taken it was snowing so hard, we kind of felt like bad parents for taking him out but he was way covered and we were only out of the truck for a few minutes.

This was Dax's first camping trip, we went to the Dunes over Easter. I am kind of mad cause I really didn't get very many pictures this trip.

My parents came to visit a couple weekends ago and we had a great time with them. Here are a few things we did while they were down. Dax all bundled up ready for his first 5 mile hike

We were able to go to the shooting range twice while they were down here. It was a bit windy so I had to stayed in the car with the baby.

The best part was the tour through South Antelope Canyon. Our tour guide, Josh, was great!!! I have so many pictures but I didn't think you would want to see all of them. Oh one other thing we did was take the tour through the Glen Canyon Dam. Dax was such a little trouper that weekend and just let us pack him everywhere we went with no fuss.

It's about time I Blog. My friend Shalice and her husband Dusty came to visit us in Page, AZ. We had a lot of fun, it's not very often we get friends or family visiting us. Their drive should have been 4 hours but because of some bad weather and them sliding off the road it took them a bit longer.
One thing I am loving about Page is the hiking. Dax and I go almost everyday. They have a trail down here that is called Rimview Trail that over looks part of lake Powell.

Well it did take us about 4 or 5 days after Dax was born but we got him named.

It was between Dax and and Crew.

Dax went in for his 2 week check up and everything is looking great. They would like to see him put on a little more weight but other then he is looking good.

We left Utah the Monday after Dax was born and headed to Arizona for Rusty's job and we are loving it down here.

Well today is my due date and well the day has came........and is now soon gone and still no baby.

We watched Drake on Friday night and we put on the movie "Over the Hedge" and this is where Drake insisted on sitting the first half of the movie. I had to get up a few times while we watched the move and everytime I would move him off of me and everytime I set back down he would sit back on me. You can't really tell but there is a very pregnant belly behind him and he would keep trying to move back but the belly would get in his way. During the 2nd half of the movie Rusty was on the bed and I was next to him and 3 different times Drake would crawl over me so he could be in the middle of both of us. He was so fun to watch and was in such a good mood on Friday.
One other funny thing is Drake will call my belly "The Boy Baby". I was holding him and he couldn't see my belly so he said "Where did the boy baby go?" all I could do was laugh and say "Your sitting on him."

Quick update

So this is a picture from about two months ago when Rusty and I went to our friends cabin in Duck Creek for a weekend. There is so much I haven't been posting lately, so I was going to play catch up today, but I can't get my new pictures to upload. I thought I would post this of Rusty and Lance after they made there way through all the snow so they could turn off the water to the cabin. I think they look like two of the seven dwarfs off of Snow White with their tools and shovel in hand. (BTW-there was so much snow that we ended up having to stay an extra night because we got snowed in)

Anyway we had a great Christmas and New Years and have just been hanging out with family and friends a lot. I am back in town and have been for about a month so I have been working a little and I am enjoying that. I just wish I could work when we travel.
This baby may come any day now, I am due in 9 days but I am still feeling great. He moves like crazy and Rusty thinks it is weird when he can look over and see my whole stomach move. Rusty is just ready to meet this little guy, he will call me about once a day and ask me if I am having contractions or if I am in labor, all I can do is laugh and tell him he will be the first to know. In fact as I was just typing that he just called and wanted to remind me that I need to call him after I go to the doctor today and let him know what they say. He is so funny about this whole thing.

Rusty didn't come back home with me so after the baby showers on Saturday I drove back to St. George so I could spend Sunday with Rusty and go to Zions. Rusty had never been, so it was fun being able to show him around even though it had been years since I had been. We hiked around a bit and just had a great time.

One of the things we did was go on a little 2 mile river walk. I had never been to Zions in December and it was so nice with very few people down there.

So Rusty and I spent 2 1/2 months in Big Piney, Wyoming with only 408 people and now that we are in St. George we are having a hard time with all the traffic, ha ha, we are liking the warmer weather though. I thought I would finish posting about Big Piney before I start to post about St. George.

My parents came to visit the four of us a few weeks ago and brought up my Grandma & Grandpa Hunting, we had so much fun with them. We cooked them dinner in the dutch oven and had a fire and the weather was great while they were there.

The day they left we went shooting and this is Grandma shooting, and let me tell you she is getting older but she can still shoot very very well. Don't mess with Grandma!

While Jen and I were going to the store on Veterans Day we saw a bunch of people out with roads all roped off so we asked the girl at the store and she said it was the Christmas Tree for the White House coming through town. So we hung out and got to watch a presentation for the U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree. (The tree was from Wyoming this year)

Well it took me an hour but I got my pictures to upload to my blog. This is baby Rekker (Whitney's baby) She had him on October 15th and everything went well. He is just so cute and little (well he was 8 lbs 7 oz.). I was headed back to Wyoming that afternoon and was glad I got to see him before I had to leave town.
Mine and Rustys pumpkins- Rusty told me I couldn't buy pumpkins this year (because he didn't want to carve them) so I didn't buy them, my brother Zac let me take a couple from his garden. I think next year Rusty may change it from I can't buy a pumpkin to, I can't bring any pumpkins home.

We have been in Wyoming now for 2 months and it is a small town but I really do like it up here. I think we may only have 2 weeks left so I am going to enjoy it while I can.

We spent a little time at Fremont Lake and walked around some trails one afternoon.

Over Labor day weekend we spent the day in Jackson Hole.

One thing we have been doing a lot of is dutch oven cooking. Most Saturday nights we try to cook in them. We have both wanted to become better dutch oven cookers so what a great time to do it. I get the food all ready and Rusty gets to do the cooking while we have a fire.

On August 27Th I had my appointment to find out the gender of the baby and Rusty was not able to make it to the appointment because he was still working in Vernal and couldn't make it home. He was very disappointed so I told him I could change my appointment or I could have the nurse write it down and I wouldn't look so we could find out together. He agreed I should just go to my appointment because we new we would be in Wyoming by the next week and didn't want to have to drive back to Utah for a Doc appointment. I made this little paper so the nurse could write the outcome on it. Rusty got off work in Vernal on Saturday afternoon and was on his way back in town but then got called to work in SLC for the night. The next time I saw him was Sunday morning at 2:30 a.m. when he woke me up so we could look at the paper together.

I think Rusty was shocked that it was a boy he really thought it was going to be a girl and I thought it would be a boy but I think he had convinced me it would be a girl so I was a little shocked too.

Tattoo-Chelsea Handler-Forest Lake

I know this is a sick picture but it was so painful I had to share. Jennell and I went and got our eyeliner tattooed on a few weeks ago and it had to have been the most painful thing I have ever done. With that said, I do love it now.

Chelsea Handler from Chelsea Latley on E! came to SLC and one of Jen's friends asked her to go with her, and Jen knew I was a fan and asked if I wanted to go. There were 5 of us and we made a great night of it starting with dinner.

Our seats were 3rd row and right in the middle so we had a great seats.

Guy came out first and wow he was funny. It was a great show and we had so much fun!

Last sunday, Rusty and I asked CJ and Madalyn if they wanted to go on a 4-wheeler ride up AF Canyon and Madalyn had never been to Forest Lake which is one of my favorite places so we headed up there and had a great ride. Before we started we stopped off at Mom and Dads cabin where mom had breakfast waiting for us befor we left.

I know it's been a while so I thought I would put up a short post. Last Thursday Jen, Brody, BJ, Sabrina, Rusty and I went fishing and had a little BBQ.

Yep that's right, we are expecting our first child, I am 3 months pregnant. It has been a long drug out process and then very unexpected. Back in February of 2007 the day before the Super Bowl, Rusty and I had talked about me getting off birth control so Super Bowl Sunday was my first day off the pill. Fast forward about 3 years and I was still not pregnant. So, Rusty convinced me to get into a Doctor to see what was going on. After several tests on me and one on him the Doctor wanted to start me on some kind of pill for a month then up the dose for 2 more months then introduce another pill for a few more months then we would talk again. I think it was in January when I filled my prescription then talked to Rusty and told him it would be smart if I didn't start taking the pills because in June of 2011 we have a 2 week hunting trip planned and I don't want to be pregnant or have a brand new baby to have to leave with someone. He agreed that we would start trying after next summer.

A month after that I won a Doll Sheep hunt in Alaska and that is in August of 2011. Rusty and I were so relieved that I hadn't started on the pills and that I was not pregnant because that is also a 2 week trip and would be way hard to leave a baby for 2 different trips in one summer.

Fast forward again to May 7th. While Rusty and I were in Moab for 3 weeks for his j0b I could tell something was different with my body. Rusty tried to talk me into getting a pregnancy test but I told him there was no reason for that. Then on May 11th while Rusty was at work I thought that for $15 I better just go get one just to find out for sure. Needless to say, all I could do is cry until he got home. I told him as I was balling and all he could say was "I'm exited" then "You are scaring me" because all I could do was cry. Talk about bad timing. So the baby is due around January 19th 2011 and both hunts are still on for next summer. Rusty is more excited than ever and I am still trying to figure out what the hell happened.

Yellowstone

Rusty ended up with a week off of work and we had airline tickets that needed to get used so we flew to Cody Wyoming and rented a car so we could drive through Yellowstone. The first night we stayed in Cody, the 2nd day we drove through Yellowstone and stayed in West Yellowstone, Montana and the 3rd and 4th night we stayed back in Cody. The first thing we did was go to the Buffalo Bill Historical Center were we spent a few hours

Next we went to the Wild Sheep Museum. This was small but way cool.

When we stayed in West Yellowstone we went to the Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center. We had seen a bear earlier that day in Yellowstone but it was kinds cool to see this one so close.

Moab

Rusty and I spent about 3 weeks in Moab because he was working down there. We had so much fun doing all the touristy things. One weekend he ended up having 4 days off so we set out to see what Utah has to offer.

Friday: We went to Arches National Park, I thought it

was a little crazy that we both have lived in Utah

our whole life but never been to the Arches.

Just an FYI if you are going to spend the day hiking

2nd annual family 4-wheeling trip

This year we had our 2nd annual 4-wheeling trip down on the Dirty Devil which is where I killed my ram last year. It was fun to be able to show Rusty (and the family) where I was hunting since he was in California working while I was hunting. We camped about 40 miles from where I killed the ram so on Saturday we took an 80 mile round trip 4-wheeler ride to go see the spot.Little Drakers couldn't go on the 4-wheeler because he didn't have a helmet so Mad and CJ drove their truck. However, Drake got to putt around camp a little, he loved every minute of it.

On Friday Jen and Brody pulled out their horse shoe set and everyone played a little.

So Drake pointed to the ground and said "alligator" Madalyn didn't know what he was pointing to until she started to look around and saw a lizzered. And this is a picture of what 3 grown men (Brody, CJ and Rusty) will do for a 2 year old, they wanted to catch the lizard for him.

Well, they got it and Drake got to pet it.

Vernal for Rusty's work

Rusty had to work in Vernal for a few days a couple weeks ago, so we made the best of it and did what few things there are to do out there. One of the things we did was go to the Utah Field House Of Natural History State Park Museum. It was ok but Thanks Giving Point's is much better.

This was a game that was for little kids but we tried it anyway. Haha we couldn't find everything. We looked and looked, how are kids going to find them if adults can't?

This was the best part, I loved this wall, I told Rusty I want it in my house some day and he just laughed and said good luck. The Bonanza leaf fossil was so cool and the wall was full of them, it was amazing.

I liked this picture so I threw it in this post. Brody and Jen took their trailer down to the Jordan River for a few nights, so a few of us would go over and fish a little. This is Rusty with Derek's son helping the little guys out with the fish he cought.

Boulder Mountain over EasterOver Easter weekend we went to Boulder for a little camping. We had such a great time with BJ, Sabrina, Brody and Jennell. This is a pic of Brody, Rusty and BJ looking for bunny's. (not chocolate ones either)

Rusty is NOT much of a cook but he made one good duch oven peach cobbler. Now it's his new job when we go camping. He made it again in Vernal but with only the two of use most of it went to waste.

One of the days we were down there we took a forever long drive over to Escalate National Monument. It was some great country to look at but was super windy that day. We had so much fun and can't wait for another trip like that soon. FYI for more pictures check out Jen's blog.

The Homestead

Last Tueday I had to go to Midway to pick up something for Rusty so Jennell and I ended up spending the morning up there. We went to the Homestead for breakfast at Fanny's Grill and it was very good. Then we walked over to the Crater which is a natural hot spring. It was nice to warm up my hand because it was so dang cold in Midway. I was a little shocked of how much snow they still have up there, I shouldn't have worn flip flops.

I have been wanting to go to the dinosaure museum at Thanksgiving point for about a year, so when Madalyn and CJ asked us to baby sit one Friday morning I thought it would be a great place to take Drakers. I'm glad we had him to take with us or we would have been the only people with out a kid. He had so much fun and kept pointing to evey thing and would say dinosaure but it didn't come out that great. Rusty and I had a better time taking him then we would have had by our selfs, it was so fun watching him get so excited! Just let us know next time you need a sitter.

So I have a friend that is always blogging about the new places they eat so I thought I would try it out. This is the new sushi place in Lehi, it is so good. Jen and I ate sushi 3 times last week and it didn't seem like enough. We usually go to Yapona's in American Fork but thought we would try Tokyo's out. Tokyo just opened, it is in the same place Hogi Yogi used to be. If you are a sushi lover like Jen and I, then you should give it a try.

So these are some pictures from California I haven't posted yet. We had so much fun at the zoo in Eureka. It is the smallest zoo we had ever been to but so pretty, it is set against the backdrop of a bunch of redwoods.

It was the zoo's big Halloween part of the year and I think Rusty and I were the only people there with no kids, the place was a mad house. All the animals were fed pumpkins and they loved chowing down.

I think there were pumpkin peaces in this box and this little guy got his head stuck for so long. It was the funniest think ever. A worker got him unstuck but within seconds he was trying to get back in the box. We had so much fun at the zoo!!!

Our Wedding day

Today is our 4 year Anniversary, and what a great 4 years it's been. I won't tell Rusty I love him on my blog like most of you do because he will never look at it, in fact he hates that I blog lol. But I will be sure and let him know.

This was the night we got engaged. Early that day Rusty had bought the ring. He was going to wait until the next weekend to proprose, becasue he was going to ask my dads permission. Once he got the ring he couldn't wait any longer. So instead he told my parents the next day that he had already proprosed and we were getting married.

Colorado Brewed

A coulpe of weeks ago Rusty and I went to Colorado with Jen and Brody to hang out and visit some friends. I have a lot more pictures of the trip but thought I would just blog the Budweiser factory. 2 of the nights we stayed in Longmont and the factory was close so we thought we would swing by. The horses were the best part, they were so big. This horse was named Serendipity. The other cool thing was all the history behind Budweiser. oh and they said Budlight is the #1 selling beer in the world.

Rusty got a hold of someone's cowboy hat for a piture.

On Friday night a bunch of us went to the George Strait, Blake Shelton and Julianne Hough concert. You can tell we had a blast! Rusty HATES to dance (not that I like it eather) but he was so funny this night and asked me to dance, all I could do is laugh. Oh and this is where his hands are most of the time whether we are dancing or not, lol.

Saturday night Jen called me while Rusty and I were on our way to a car show and said they had 2 extra tickets to the Xtreme Combat in Richfield and they were leaving in 20 min, so Rusty and I turned around and packed our bags so we could spend the night in Richfield and watch the fights.

The guy we all wanted won the main event, Court McGee, he killed Dayle Jarvis. There was a ton of blood and we were so close you could hear every punch. What a great weekend.

Lava Hot Springs Weekend

The only place to play pool was at a bar, so we went to the bar, and at this bar you could wright on a dollar bill and hang it on the wall, so we did.....and this is it. I was so proud of our dollar on the wall.

This is in Soda Springs, a pool that you can drink out of, HECK no we didn't drink it. It is a bubbly pool of soda water, crazy it just bubbled away. I had so much fun this weekend with Rusty, can't wait for our next weekend away.

We went to Idaho to visit Lava Hot Springs and Soda Springs this past weekend. (well I say this past weekend but I got up at 4 this morning and drove home so I could be to work today) I loved how green everything was so I am doing a post on some cool pic's I got, I also saw these old wood cilos in Soda and had to get a pic. It was nice to just drive around a town I had never been to and new very little about. I wish I new how to do a post with more then 4 pictures but I will post the rest of the trip later.

July 4th @ Duck Creek

We went to the Duck Creek parade, it was a good time. They Pretty much just decorate there vehicles and 4-wheelers and drive them through town and it is so small that they turn around and go back through town. After the parade they had a fire work show, not like illegal fireworks but legal fireworks and the fire fighters were in full uniform, it was too funny

So I just have to tell you about this guy John. He and his wife Wendy are friends of Lance and Diane's and they live in Duck Creek and own the general store. John made Rusty laugh and laugh and laugh. Some of you know about Rusty's laugh that you don't hear very often unless someone said something really funny, its a deep laugh and he can't breath. John is one funny guy!

4th of July weekend

Rusty and I went back down to Duck Creek and stayed at a friends cabin, this was our 3rd trip down there. Lance and Diane are great friends and hosts, we had a blast but it wasn't long enough.

Lehi Round-Up

Thursday night my sisters and I went to Lehi's "Horse Parade" I hadn't been in about 20 years it was fun!

June 23rd marked the 1 year anniversary of when Rusty's Dad, Captain Harold Terry, was shot in the line of duty. After one year he is doing well, this is him participating in the Lehi Float Parade Saturday morning. The crowd was cheering him on!

On Saturday night at the Lehi Rodeo Harold recieved a belt buckle from Dodge for his service to the community. We are all so proud of Harold for all that he has accomplished and his hard work to recover from his injuries.

A couple Fridays ago it was great that Blake came along with me and my dad so he could show us some of the country down on the Dirty Devil. I drew for a Utah Desert Bighorn Sheep and will be hunting this fall. I had to wake up at 2:45 am, be at my dads at 3:15, then meet Blake in Provo at 4:00, then we had about a 3 1/2 to 4 hour drive. After we spent the day down there, we turned around and drove home.

A couple weeks ago we went to the San Rafeal Swell and went on a 70 mile 4-wheeler ride. We got up at 6 am got all ready to ride then took off. It rained on us most the day, finally towards the end it cleared up and we could take off a layer of clothing.

I love getting my first pedicure of the year. I got it a couple weeks ago, then yesturday went back for a facial and it was awesome. Jen found a place in Provo and I think that is where I am going to start going, the girls that work there are great.

New Bedding

For Christmas we bought new bedroom furniture and I have been looking for new bedding since and just couldn't find anything I liked. Last Sunday I was looking at a Bed Bath and Beyond's add and saw this set and by Monday I was washing sheets and putting it on my bed. Since we moved into our home 2 years ago our bedroom has not had any attention so I am now slowly trying to get it finished. I think Rusty is happy I found bedding because he was sick of me bitching about the old stuff. Oh and thank you to everyone that helped me get coupons so I could save a little money

Sabrina's bacheloret part

So March 28th was a CRAZY Saturday, I was late for everything. I was supposed to meet at my parent's house at 9, but was late, then Sabrina's bridal shower at 2, but was late, I think I got there around 3:30. Because of the shower I didn't go to my niece's birthday party, but was going to meet up with them for dinner at 5, but agian I was late. The bacheloret party started at 6, but I didn't make it until 7, and because of that I showed up fashionably late for the birthday party that was being thrown for everyone that had a birthday in March.

So everyone knows I'm not that into birthdays but this year was a great one. My favorite cake is angele food cake. Rusty has had his mom make me one when we were dating, then for valentines day he bought me one, but for this birthday he called my sister to find out how hard it would be to make one. He did such a good job, I think this is the first thing he has ever baked. He kept telling me how easy it was so I told him I will expect one every year.

The day after my birthday was Friday and a few of us had the day off so CJ, Mad, Drake, Rusty and I went to the living Aquarium in Sandy, it was way cool. Little Drake loved it.

Rusty and I love watching our nephews, it's probably because we don't have kids and when they get fussy we can send them home, I'm only kidding we like them even when they get fussy. We watched Rusty's sister's (Jackie) son Gage, and also my sister's (Madalyn) son Drake. Drake is 5 months younger and weighs 2 pounds more then Gage. I just had to throw that in there I thinks it's funny.

Back in May 2007 Rusty and I were in Hawaii and met Lance and Diane, we kept running into them. The first time we talked to them was to ask for directions, then they sat next to us at dinner that same night and I think we ended up eating another meal together. After that we knew it, it was meant to be and we hung out with them the rest of the trip. We had only seen them once after that trip because of us moving to Colorado for a while and life being crazy. Anyway Diane and Lance invited us down for New Years to their cabin that is by Duck Creak which is 30 miles east of Cedar City.

I know it's hard to believe but we went to church on Christmas day and had a great time. After sleeping in until 10:00, going to my parents house for breakfast, then visiting Rusty's parents, Jennell and my dad met us at our house on there 4- wheelers, we jumped on ours and took off from there. We did a few donuts in the church parking lot, then just drove around for a bit. If we would have had snowmobiles we could have gotten away with driving them around town there was so much snow. Later that night Jen came over and we played a full game of Mexican Train. Brody missed out he was working.

Rusty and I went to Lyndsey and Bretts new house for a Christmas party. We had a lot of fun. They live about 40 min away and Rusty had to get up early on Sunday to go snowboarding so he left early and I spent the night. Lyndsey was nice enough to take me home the next morning. Thanks Lyn.

So I had to add this pic of Bretts dog. Most of you that know me know I'm NOT a dog lover. However I did let this dog sleep on my feet while I slept on the coach. He is a good dog. When I told Rusty the next day he was a little shocked that I let him.

Last Thursday Jennell and one of Rusty's co-workers along with his wife and 3 kids came over and we played Uno. Thats their daughter wearing an old pair of my earmuffs. She was so cute she left them on all night so I let her take them home.

Rusty and I decied to get out of town for Halloween
weekend. We went to Bryce Canyon and spent a couple
of nights at Ruby's Inn.

We went for a long 4-wheeler ride and fed some deer.
